Crabbing on the Fourth of July 2017

It appears crabbing this Tuesday will be closed. Do you know if WDFS is allowing an exception on the 4th of July this year?

Whassup Gear?
Welcome aboard! Here's an excerpt from the WDFW Press Release:
Crabbing will be allowed Thursdays through Mondays each week; closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
So, we're all going to have to get all our July 4th crabbing done the weekend before the big day!!!
Good luck and remember to mark those crab catch record cards as there will definitely be an increased enforcement and catch monitoring presence this season and we'll be telling you what's up with that this Saturday on The Outdoor Line Radio Show! cheers

Returned to the boat launch before noon. Only enforcement there was Everett Police checking for new boat registrations. No enhanced WDFW people at the dock to check our catch or on the water. Not even a fish checker at the dock. I know area 8-2 is a big area but thought someone would be at the launch.
Some people have a problem reading Launch and Take Out. Had to work with two yahoos launching in lane 10 while people are trying to take out. Impatience and or ignorance!
Soon we can fish/crab when the masses are at work. Like Tom and Robbo
cheers
