Outdoor Line Trout Pond

Postby Robbo » Fri Jan 21, 2011 4:13 pm

Don't forget to bring the kiddos to the Outdoor Line trout pond tomorrow at the Seattle Boat show. The great folks at Outdoor Emporium supplied all the rods and the three of us will be headed down there immediately after the Outdoor Line radio show in the morning to take part in the festivities. We welcome your photos, comments, and questions here in the forums anytime during the show. Hope to see you there! :D

I had the honor of announcing the start of the 64th annual Seattle Boat Show tonight and introducing Lt. Governor Brad Owen. Of course I stopped by the Outdoor Line trout pond and it was pakced. Great to see all the smiles on the kids faces and a special thanks to the Poggie Club volunteers, it was great to visit with a few of those guys. By the way as you can see by the pics below, there are some lunkers in that pond.

Thanks for sponsoring the trout pond and thanks to Outdoor Emporium for their efforts also. I had a chance on Friday to help at the pond for several hours. There were lots of kids that came through and caught their first fish ever! Many kids never get the chance to go fishing and it was special to see the excitement they enjoyed. I can't wait to help next year.

Welcome aboard TT, a special thanks to you and all of the people that helped out at the trout pond. I was trying to get an albie pond going but that might have to wait until next year.

Always tryin' to figure out a way to slip my line in there without anyone noticing! Oh well I'll just have to stick to the Reiter rearing ponds instead. :D
