Cannon DR Ion Control question.

Postby LisaMarie » Tue Mar 15, 2016 5:53 am

On the new Cannons, they have the Positive ION control. I'm not so sure its a real thing, in theory its sounds good I guess. I've read up on it and there seems to be a range that different Species seem to react to. The Scotty Blackbox is adjustable to whatever Fish you are targeting.... Can you adjust the Cannon's voltage output like you can with the Scotty Blackbox or is it a fixed voltage?

Hey LM,
Sorry about not getting to this question earlier but the short answer is yes!
Cannon's STX DigiTroll 10 has adjustable Positive Ion Control and I set mine at either 0.5 or 0.6 of a volt. Which ever rigger gets bit gets my voltage "vote" for the day!
With other Cannons the voltage is fixed at 0.6volt. cheers
