Any South sound or coastal rivers producing?

Postby ebourlet » Fri Dec 25, 2015 8:43 pm

Got me my first Lamiglass and bait casting reel for Christmas. I'm learning and want to fish a river on the 26th . Anybody have any suggestions? Live in Tacoma. I was planning on listening to Outdoor Line in the morning to get ideas but the guys are taking a well deserved holiday.

Good morning and welcome aboard E,
If I was waking up in the south end with steelhead on my mind, I would definitely be thinking about the Lewis or Kalama rivers.
The Bogachiel is a perennial Christmas time producer on the coast and if you're thinking north the Snoqualmie is a bit closer and definitely holding a few holiday hatchery brats! Good luck! cheers
