So is there an opportunity for volunteer work to survey creeks and streams?

Up until this point volunteer work was very limited. With budget cuts it's anybodies guess what will happen. Could be some opportunity in the future.

This season continues to be consistent. A group of friends and I got together over the last several days and had some really good fishing. Some rivers are chalked full of steelhead right now with a few bigguns' to boot! ;) I will say this, if you don't make time for steelhead this season you are missing one of the finest seasons I've seen in a very long time.

Robbo- I'll try to pry a few pics out of Riley when he gets back. Oink oink!

There musta been a lot of fish around to have the time to mess around with the video camera. Looking forward to seeing those plug takedown videos. Not many folks pull plugs anymore...it's awful damn effective on those big nates :!: :!: :!:

We caught some nice SH on the Snake just above Little Goose dam pulling plugs last Sep. The clipped keepers were 7 and 9 lbs; and a couple of nates were much bigger than that. Also picked up some nice smallmouth bass and wild Nooks at the same time.

You bet, 2 passes in one hole resulted in 2 fish 37" and 38". Same plug. :D

Dammit man...that's a shot to the solar plexus. Killing me to not be on the water. Nice work bagging those big nates though...I need to live vicariously thru you fellars for a while

Can't believe I'm gonna be responsible for a month. Weird!
