Area 9 Sunday???

Postby Nelly » Fri Jan 14, 2011 1:03 pm

The forecast has come down a bit (SUN...VARIABLE WIND 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS) which is a lot better than the 25KT winds they were calling for!
Area 10 has really improved and 8-2 has perked up in recent weeks. There has to be bait on Possession Bar and that flat tide shouldn't be holding anybody back.
My only issue is that the Seahawks kick off at 10am!!! Here's hoping I can get them to bite at dawn!

I wish I would have gone out to Possession Bar in a 12 lund instead of watch this game.

Hey Nelly since you are bored... We've met before at Bayside, I have the Orange Ghetto Boat "Lisa Marie". Anyway, I'm new to Salmon Fishing and gonna respool this weekend. I just bought 25lbs Izorline HiViz. I plan on fishing blackmouth, do you think that is too heavy?

I plan on following the Fire Boat out to Possession Bar.

Hey LM
I love 25lb for downrigger fishing! I'm more of a Berkley HiVis Big Game guy but IZOR is fine.
I think I remember you and your boat but I'm also a bit of a drain bamaged individual who is not great with names but I'll be heading for Possession in the morning!

If you get a chance, please re-post your transducer question in the Boat Owners Forum and I'll re-write the answer that the Grand Exhaulted PooBah Administrator Robbo  deleted when he tried to move that post!
