Tokul creek 2011

Thought I'd post some pics from the last couple weeks...

Nice chrome hen on a puffy yarn nugget....

Nice chrome buck... ( Todd missed this fish, so I rowed back up to show him how it's done)

Here's another hen that kicked my butt all the way down the tailout...

As you can see from that hen, she was digging and ready to go, so we knew there had to be a buck there with her...

One cast later.....

FISH ON!!

This fish kicked my balls even harder then the hen. It also wrapped me up in two different trees ( t-rip was able to get them free) and was landed 100yards or so down river....

This season has been pretty awesome.... and we're only half way through :)

OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like the Tokul motherload. Outstanding. All steelhead are beautiful but you know I have a weakness for the big colored guys and that last shot is incredible especially for that lil' river! Were they worm haters?

Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Must be up river somewhere. Looks way better than the hatchery area.
