Anchor Buddy

I picked up an Anchor Buddy today at the boat show for $25. One of the guys we run with in SE Alaska uses one of these things for deer hunting and it works great. He drops anchor with this bunge cord attached to it a little ways offshore and then pulls into the beach and jumps off with a rope from the stern, tying it around a tree to hold the boat while they offload. Then he unties the rope and the bunge cord pulls the boat back out away from the beach. When they get back they yard on the rope and haul the boat back over to the beach...super slick and no need for a dingy.

Dear Capt. Robbo: I am wondering if this product will help me in my new boat? Sometimes, when I am cruising Lake Washington fishing for perch and carp, I like to wallow ashore to get snacks at Coulon park. Here I am enjoying a snack in my new pride and joy!

Thanks!

Love, Mingo

Dear Mingus,
I believe this is the product you're looking for. Place the "Velvet Touch" elastor band around your beanus bag and quickly release the plyers, snapping the band closed. You'll feel a tingling sensation at first, but it will dissipate quickly and within a week you'll no longer feel the urge to go boating or do anything else manly for that matter. Thank you! :D
