2004 Palmer Tiderunner 19' Value?

Postby BigBankWA » Tue Apr 09, 2013 11:55 am

Hi Guys,
Well I am looking at acquiring this boat, in a trade for some property I have in Westport, but am having a hard time booking it out as both Tiderunner and Palmer don't appear in NADA. Very little info on used values in my online search. Any info you can provide will be helpful.

2004 Palmer Tiderunner 19' with Johnson 115HP 4 stroke main and 8HP Yamaha 4 stroke kicker. Hydraulic trim tabs. EZ Loader aluminum trailer. Scotty downriggers. Older Lowrance (not HDS) sounder/gps and vhf radio. All basics to go out on water. Appears to be in very good condition for age, stored indoors etc.

Any advice, or knowledgeable info on value would be appreciated.

And yes...if the trade happens it will be for sale. I am working my way to a Grady White.

Is the main and kicker a 2004 as well? Any idea how many hours on them?

According to Jeff at Bayside Marine and without looking at a picture, he threw the number $8800.00 at me.
Again, sight unseen not knowing if its got a good trailer and if it was only trolled by a little old lady on Sunday mornings... rofl

That's interesting! thumbup
Actually, Bo Palmer owns Defiance Boats and they're making some excellent -and affordable- fiberglass hulls. In fact, Defiance just purchased Arima Boats and well and now has a full line of boats from 14 to 30+ feet!

Can you share with us what the book actually said about the price of your boat? wave

Before I post the NADA info...I just want to say...YES GUYS...I realize this is NOT what I can sell the boat for. I have over 23 years in banking, and many of them were spent as a Senior Underwriter for the RV/Marine/Auto division of a National Bank...so please don't go on and on about GOOD LUCK etc. LOL

I see what you mean BB!
That's a nice, clean ride you have there with a great engine package.
If it was a ten-year old I/O it wouldn't be worth as much.
I've fished out of Tide Runners and they are one heck of a hull!
One of the first in fact, to incorporate a true reverse chine design.
Good luck and thanks for joining our Forums and don't worry, we don't do flame jobs on people's posts around here.
