Puget Sound Lingcod Opener May 1st

The gang from All-Star Charters did their usual opening day hammer job on the Possession Bar lings. Typically, high winds and waves greet the opening day faithful but this particular May first dawned flat calm and sunny.
The first order of opening day business is catching sand dabs (small flounder) for bait and Nick Kester of All Star Charters joined us for a segment detailing the drill
Overall, Nick's clients landed five lings, hooking nine overall and releasing a 47-inch oversize lingcod.
