Cowlitz Steelhead shaping up to be a good season!

Postby screaminreels » Tue Feb 24, 2015 10:04 pm

We loaded up the sled and free drifting gear and headed south. The weather was awesome along with the water conditions. The river was busy as usual so we fished our way down river from Blue Creek to Mission picking a few fish along the way. We had six chrome on the line and boated four. It was not red hot but the river is showing promise this early with excellent conditions and a fair amount of fish around. I can't wait for March it will only get better!

I headed down there with a couple buddies this past week and had similar action Derek. Saw quite a few fish caught on the other boats too. Water flows were perfect thumbup
