It was a calm and overcast day on Saturday with water temp around 55-57, COLD for a bass!

It was a slow morning. I mixed up a variety of football head jigs and a drop shot in 15-35' of water with not a lot to show for it but some big perch.
With Kokanee jumping and breaking the surface, and this lake traditionally fishing with bass hoaning in on them, I decided to go big and busted out the swimbaits! Of course all paired with Daiwa rods and reels!!!

It wasn't long after I told my freind joining me for the trip that I was going to commit to the swimbait the rest of the day when this one latched onto a KGM Custom TW Swimmer! And he got it good!

Overall it was a pretty slow day and after getting some other bass fishing reports from friends, it seemed to be slow on other lakes as well. Fish are transitioning from their fall feeding to deeper depth's with the weather and the temp both decreasing and can be picky while doing so. It is all about being in the right place when they do decide to have a snack!
