It's called Wind Alert
Check it out. It's kind of a game changer with regard to trip planning. thumbup

If you load the free version they give you full features occasionally to show you what's available.
I used the ap today on the Straits and it's a great source of wind info! cheers

I hear you 12, it's all about the the wind in everybody's boat!
What's most impressive is the hour to hour forecast accuracy.
In many cases the NWS Puget Sound Marine Forecast struggles to keep up with WindAlert!

Have to agree, Wind Alert has been much more accurate.
I've been disappointed many times by the lack of accuracy on the NOAA site.
Even for those that just fish the beaches rather then out of a boat, it is a great app to have.
The hourly forecasts are excellent.
