Sonar Images

Hi Rob & Tom,

Would you happen to have sonar images of sand lance and spot prawns you can share? I'm searching the forum but only see images of herring and squid.

Thank you!

Doesn't say what kind of transducer/sounder is being used.

The prawns are found on rocky bottoms.

The Sand Lance are found on sand/gravel bottoms, but sometimes they school near the surface.

If you had a CHIRP sounder with a high frequency transducer, you could probably differentiate Sand Lance from a larger bait fish such as Herring. Some sounders such as expensive Furuno one's can tell you what the bottom is composed of & how big the fish targets are.
