I was wondering does anyone use a swivel on their spoon? Or maybe a Duolock snap so it doesn't impart the action of the spoon but you can easily change it out? Most people I see just tie directly to the spoon.

Welcome aboard and no, I always tie directly to the spoon.
Often I use a swivel on the flasher end of the spoon's leader for quick change-outs but I avoid using any type of snap on thin-bladed spoons like Luhr Jensen Coyotes, or Silver Horde's Kingfisher Lites & Coho Killers.
