If you are going to plug cut your herring should you plug cut before or after curing with the fire brine?

Hey E,
I know Duane was steelheading today and away from the computitater so I'll chime in..
The chartruse Fire Brine has been working well for me and I've been adding it to my brine before I cut plug the herring.
Often, I'll cut bait ahead of time so the cut plugs are going back into the Fire Brine afterwards too, So, it's working fine both ways for me.

Thanks for steppin up Nelly. I wouldn't have bothered Duane if I had known he had such tuff duty.
