we started our winterrun steelhead trips down on the cowlitz and were not dissapointed.. there were about 900+/- boats on saturday but we moved away and found some peaceful water with quite a few willing bitters

Looks to be shaping up for a good winter steel season. Free drifting or coons n' divers?

Yes Nelly I found the only pix that would upload. That fish was actually caught in 1984 and that kid holding the fish is now 61 years old.

And yes we primarly sidedrift eggos on the cowlits. I like to "hunt" for fish I feel it is much more productive and with the rod in your hand as the steelie munches on your eggs is the best feeling in the world (almost)
