After two weekend of the worst rain fishing I have ever seen, I almost did not get out of bed for round 3 of rain on the weekend but... so glad I did because after 5 days of sun... this lake went off on 4/28! Fishing was amazing from 5:30am to 8:30am, the bite stayed on because of the steady rain and low light conditions. At times, as soon as the rod was set back in the holder it had a fish on again!

The bite was on in shallow water 25 / 30ft away from shore on the north east side of the lake, about 5 ft down or flat line. I had my best luck on a pink rocky mountain kokanee assassin lures and half fast pink dodger. I used white shoe peg cord soaked in tuna oil and kokanee sockeye super dipping sauce. Be sure to throw a turn or two in from time to time to trigger a strike!
