Rob Tobeck
A stand out student athlete at Washington State University in the early 90’s Rob Tobeck went on to play 14 years of professional football in the NFL. He spent seven years with the Atlanta Falcons and another seven with the Seattle Seahawks, appearing in two Super Bowls over the course of his career. Rob was a Pro Bowl selection with the Seattle Seahawks on its only Super Bowl team in franchise history and was selected to the Seahawks All Time team. He played 10,000 snaps in the NFL and spent 28 years, in all, suiting up to play football. His grit and determination made him a favorite amongst Seattle’s devoted fans, as he took care of business in the trenches each and every Sunday for the Seahawks.
Since retiring from the NFL Rob has taken his competitive spirit to the water and now participates in fishing tournaments and derbies up and down the West Coast. You’ll find him chasing tuna many miles off the Washington and Oregon coastlines or trolling for salmon in the Puget Sound and Lake Washington. In addition to his passion for fishing he has also taken an active role in the Coastal Conservation Association and currently sits on both the state and national boards for the CCA.

Featured Trip
Craig, Alaska
June 24-28, 2010
Trophy king salmon, some weighing in excess of 60 pounds, congregate in the islands near Craig to feed on abundant schools of baitfish before heading to rivers further south. In addition to the mass migration of salmon thru these waters a local hatchery bolsters the king salmon run here, making this area a destination for anglers wishing to tie into one of the west coasts most revered fish.
