About the Show

The Outdoor Line is the original Seattle outdoor radio show and can be heard every Saturday morning from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. on 710 ESPN Seattle, the home of the Mariners and Seahawks. Hosts Tom Nelson and Rob Endsley combine listener call-ins with a variety of fishing and hunting experts and political activists to keep Pacific Northwest anglers, hunters, and outdoorsman abreast of new techniques, upcoming seasons, and conservation news.
Originally hosted by famed Washington angler Bill Davis in the late 80’s and early 90’s, the Outdoor Line was resurrected by 710 ESPN Seattle in April of 2009 with hosts Tobeck, Nelson, and Endsley brought on board to provide the same fun and informative format of the original show. Rob Tobeck departed the Outdoor Line in September of 2011 and left the reins in the capable hands of Tom Nelson and Rob Endsley.
The Outdoor Line broadcasts over a booming 50,000 watt antennae each and every Saturday morning, reaching as far north as Vancouver, BC and as far south as Vancouver, Washington.
Listeners are encouraged to call 866-979-ESPN during the show with questions, comments, or reports. Tune into the Outdoor Line each and every Saturday for fun, informative, and often entertaining outdoor talk radio!

Featured Trip
Craig, Alaska
June 24-28, 2010
Trophy king salmon, some weighing in excess of 60 pounds, congregate in the islands near Craig to feed on abundant schools of baitfish before heading to rivers further south. In addition to the mass migration of salmon thru these waters a local hatchery bolsters the king salmon run here, making this area a destination for anglers wishing to tie into one of the west coasts most revered fish.
