New for 2011! Redington's new Sonic-Pro series waders utilizes ultrasonic welding to create a durable flat seam that is less prone to wear than a stitched seam. The Sonic-Pro Zip Front and the Stocking Foot Waders have five layers of fabric on the lower legs and seat for added durability, ergonomic hand warmer pockets lined with brushed micro fleece and laser cut exterior pockets with YKK water-resistant zippers. They also have custom designed features such as a 2” stretch wading belt with a Redington buckle, gravel guards with a molded lace hook and a hemostat clamp d-ring near the suspender attachment point. The major difference between these two waders is the Zip Front waders feature a full, center-front Riri ‘Storm’ Waterproof Zipper to allow getting in and out of the waders much easier. The third style in this collection is the Sonic-Pro Wader Pant, which has many of the same features. Instead of a 5-layer system, the pants feature 3-layers to increase breathability while still maintaining durability. The retail prices of these waders are $349.95 for the Zip Front, $249.95 for the Stocking Foot and $199.95 for the Pant. Click HERE for more information about this product.

Saw this on Facebook and wanted to chime in. I bought the original zipper front waders when Redington came out with them a couple years ago and they are still working great. No leaks, plenty long in the legs, and the zipper works like a champ still. I can't wait to wear them out so I can get the new Sonics. That might be a while at this rate. LOL!

I'll keep this brief.....my Sonic Pro waders are absolutely the highest quality, best performing waders I've ever had. No other wader I've used fits as well (no bunching, no crimping no big air pockets), is a easy to get on and off (the zippers....c'mon!)are are as tough (no tears or busting at the seams)as this pair. Its nice to have one less thing to worry/think about when I hit the river.

I think it goes without saying the quality that Redington produces. I can't help myself, Redington waders rock. If it is not the materials they use, that last forever. they always seem to come up with really user friendly cutting edge products. I do not know about the rest here but I am not getting younger and I seem to need the little boys room more. What a dream come true. Thank you Red for that front zipper.

You guys are all spot on with these waders. They are the best waders I've ever owned and I didn't have to pay thru the nose for them. Keep up the good work Redington!

I do a lot of bushwacking and my Sonic Pro Waders haven't let me down. NO LEAKS! Makes me a happy camper! Also the zipper front is amazing. After so many years of waders without front zippers, you think, why has it taken so long to come up with this technology. Getting in and out of waders was always the hardest part of my day...not anymore! Yeah, baby! Go Reddington! Keep up the good work!

I've worn the Sonic pro waders on all my oudoor water expeditions this year. I like the zipper fronts because I do most of my wader changing by the side of the truck. This cuts my time in the rain or snow to a minimum. They are also well made and very comfortable. I've bushwacked on river banks and so far no leaks. I really like the cut as it conforms very well without big air pockets. I'd give the new Redington line of waders a thumbs up.

Just got a pair of the waist-hi in the sonic pro. I really like the suspenders, as the other waist-highs will typically bunch or fall down. The flat seams make them really flexible. The ultrasonic trend is sweeping the nation I guess! AWESOME.
