Pflueger Arbor

Pflueger Arbor

Pflueger Arbor spinning reels are designed to handle todays superbraid lines. Whether an angler decides to use monofilament, fluorocarbon or braided lines, the Arbor’s "large arbor" design is perfectly suited to the unique demands that these lines place on a reel. The "large arbor" design advantage is the combination of the larger spool diameter and the short oscillation stroke. Both of these factors combine for great line management and casting characteristics. The larger spool diameter also means that the line has less wraps around the arbor for a given distance when compared to traditional spinning reels, which allows less coils and a lot less line twist. Seven stainless steel ball bearings and one instant anti-reverse bearing give the Arbor Spinning Reels a smooth feel with instant hook set capabilities.

Don't wast your money on the new pflueger Arbor spinning reel.I have one and you can't keep line on it. I have been fishing bass tournaments for over 20 years and know how to spool line on my reel. For some reason the spool is to short or not positioned properly on the reel. The line wants to come off in a tangle mess after about 10 casts. I have phoned Pflueger and left phone messeges with no response from them. If anyone has the same problem let me know. Thanks Joe riverraider2233@sbcglobal.net
