Okuma Serrano Baitcaster

Okuma Serrano Baitcaster

The Serrano is optimized for harsh saltwater conditions, each component addresses not only corrosion resistance, but also the delivery of the drive and drag system strength necessary to take on the most powerful inshore species. Being the lightest, strongest, and most durable low-profile baitcast reel in the lineup, Serrano specifications are impressive, but even more so is the experience of actually fishing it. Find total comfort in the ergonomic design, in-swept handle and oversized knobs. Experience the speed and power of Serrano’s responsiveness. Pair Serrano with a C3 rod for a premium matched system, and turn it loose on Stripers, Redfish, Trout, Bonefish, Steelhead, Permit, and Calicos. Click HERE for more information about this reel.

Exactly what I needed to know Bill. I have one of these on my Christmas wish list to go along with a new 9'6" drift rod. Thanks man!

I used two of these reels on two float rods all steelhead season. The drags are the smoothest drags i have used! I have noticed that my guest seem to have less backlashes and learn bait cast quicker than any other reel i have used.

Craig, Alaska

Featured Trip Craig, Alaska

June 24-28, 2010

Trophy king salmon, some weighing in excess of 60 pounds, congregate in the islands near Craig to feed on abundant schools of baitfish before heading to rivers further south. In addition to the mass migration of salmon thru these waters a local hatchery bolsters the king salmon run here, making this area a destination for anglers wishing to tie into one of the west coasts most revered fish.
