The Okuma Avenger series spinning reels are constructed with a patented On/Off auto trip bait feeding system, 6 stainless steel ball bearings, 1 Quck-set anti reverse ball bearing, and a multi-disk drag washer. The bait feeding system is perfect for a wide variety of uses, including side drifting, float fishing, trout fishing, and drop shotting. fishing for pinks this fall with the 15 series Avenger spooled with 6# CXX and a UL 6'6" trout rod; ended up hooking a 20#+ Skykomish king. Not sure if there is a better way to test a drag system than that. It performed awesome for the 45 minute battle. Good reel, great drag, great price. Would buy another Avenger in a heartbeat.
