Mustad Assist Hooks

Mustad Assist Hooks

Mustad Hooks, the largest hook manufacturer in the world, produces a full line of jigging assist hooks for offshore fishing.  Assist hooks are pre-rigged with jigging braid multifilament and the srongest and sharpest Mustad Ultrapoint Hooks.  Each knot on the assist hooks is pre-tested.  Assist hooks have become increasingly popular with Pacific Northwest anglers who attach them to butterfly jigs, darts, and bottomfish jigs.  Mustad manufacturers them in a variety of sizes from 2/0 to 12/0 and 140 to 180 pound braid.  For more information on how to rig assist hooks log onto www.mustad.no.

I use these hooks all the time on every kind of jig. From Butterfly jigs to Saltiga jigs to even modifying my Point Wilson Darts. The hooks are sharp, strong, and with the heavy braid I never have to worry about any breakage. I have caught everything from albacore, to lings and salmon with these hooks.
